Hello lovely readers! Welcome back to our blog, or welcome in general if you’re just finding us now. We’ve been pretty absent for the past few months, but I promise we’ve had a good reason. We’ve been moving across the country.

We bought our bus (check out that story on this blog post) back in September, 2020 but weren’t able to actually start on our conversion until we moved. So we packed up our things in Denver and moved across the country to where we had parked the bus on Levi’s parent’s land six months ago. We officially moved mid-March and are now semi-proud residents of Peoria, IL.
Our new apartment is in this adorable, old Victorian mansion on a tiny, one-way tree-lined street where we can go on walks and get away from the hustle and bustle (a welcome change after busy Colorado). But we’re only a few blocks from downtown, so we can enjoy weekend farmers’ markets, walks down by the river and fun artsy events when they start up again.

While we definitely miss Denver, it’s kind of nice being near family again! Neither of us have lived near our parents since before college, so we’ve been enjoying spending time with both of our families in our down time. In addition to bonding time, we’ve also been able to get started on the bus! I’m hoping to do a general update on the bus conversion next week, so be sure to check back for that to see what we’ve been up to!

Instead of blogging over the past few months (sorry about that!) I have been busy getting our Instagram account and YouTube channel going. I would love it if you would follow/subscribe to those since we’ll probably be posting there more often.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read this short update. I promise there is so much more skoolie content to come very soon.
